Has your internship allowed you to network with other real estate professionals? If so, in what ways?

My internship has allowed me to network with a wide variety of real estate professionals. I have been provided with not only the opportunity to meet and learn from different professionals within our company, but outside of it as well. I have been able to network with different real estate professionals outside of our company through tours, lunches, and many phone calls.

What has been your favorite project to work on throughout your time at Colliers?

My favorite project that I have worked on is putting together comp flyers with sales and rent comps for Cody to send to potential prospects. It's always enjoyable to see prospects finding value from them.

What has been the biggest learning lesson you will take away from this internship?

The biggest lesson I have learned from my internship is the importance of strategic communication and relationship building. Both professionals that I have worked with are able to find success because of how they treat others and through their communication. I have learned the importance of needing to adapt my communication based on who I am conversing with, and how important relationships are for long term success.
