“Polaris Fashion Place has been acquired by a longstanding investor in the Central Ohio shopping mall. O'Connor Capital Partners announced Wednesday that it has taken 100% ownership of the Delaware County retail, restaurant and entertainment complex at 1500 Polaris Pkwy. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.”

“A local healthcare practice is looking to construct a new office in Worthington. Diabetes & Endocrinology Center of Ohio has identified a location on East Wilson Bridge Road for the project, which is being considered by the Worthington Municipal Planning Commission at a meeting this week. The Pizzuti Companies wants to build a new industrial facility in northeast Columbus.”

“Another chicken finger chain has its sights set on Central Ohio. This time it’s Frisco, Texas-based Layne’s Chicken Fingers. Franchisee Doug McGuire has signed on to bring 22 of the chicken-centric restaurants to north Central Ohio. McGuire has experience in restaurant franchising. He and his family have been involved with the Arby’s brand since 2006, running eight locations in the region. He wanted to grow the footprint, but Ohio already is a strong market for Arby’s, he said, making growth difficult.”
