Finance - Financial Tech Company to Double Employment in Columbus

“A financial services company is expected to double its workforce in the city thanks the latest round of state tax credits. The Ohio Tax Credit Authority announced $239 million in state investment July 27 across five projects, promising to generate $93 million in payroll. That includes $6 million in generated payroll for FIS Management Services, LLC, in central Ohio.”

“The owners of the Worthington Inn are adding a historic Clintonville property to their portfolio. Real estate investment group 1831 Management is in contract to buy the building at 4784 N. High St. that, for the last 14 years, has been home to Mozart’s Bakery.”

Manufacturing - Ohio's Largest Battery Project Starts Construction Near New Albany Data Centers

“A new energy project located near a cluster of New Albany-area data centers – including ones operated by Meta, Google and Amazon Web Services – is expected to address "unprecedented electricity demand growth," according to the California-based company that's building it.”
