“New Albany-based Axium Packaging is expanding again with a $45 million project in Jersey Township. The manufacturer of specialized plastic products for consumer goods companies will build a nearly 300,000-square-foot facility at 10874 Worthington Road. The new space will house expanded tube manufacturing operations and a warehouse to support Axium's contracts across North America, according to a press release from the Columbus Partnership”

“A Worthington-area shopping center anchored by a specialty grocer and restaurant chain has changed hands. Olentangy Valley Centre, located at 7800-7860 Olentangy River Road, was acquired for $7.3 million, according to the Franklin County Auditor. The transaction also included an acre of vacant commercial land behind the shopping center.”

“The original Opportunity Zone program is set to expire at the end of 2026, but that doesn’t mean it’s too late for the initiative to receive an upgrade. The program, introduced during President Trump's first term as part of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, will now see more than one-third of its designated areas classified as "rural." That makes them eligible for a set of perks passed into law with this summer's sweeping federal tax and spending legislation.”
