Townhall

Doors opened on January 26th at the new Townhall restaurant in the Short North. The restaurant, which is originally from Cleveland, is located at 792 N. High St. on the ground floor of the Moxy Hotel and is in a prime location to attract business from High St. Townhall has two sides to the building, including a café and a bar/restaurant. In the future, Townhall is also planning to offer delivery via Uber Eats and DoorDash. Additionally, there are plans for a rooftop bar called Mandrake, which is set to open within the year and will include a 270-degree view of Columbus.

Parkside on Pearl

Located directly behind the new Townhall restaurant, there has been approval to add a new mixed-use building including apartments, office space, retail space, and a parking garage. This building will be located at 39 E. Hubbard Ave, and is in a great location to walk to and explore the Short North. The Italian Village Commission gave the go-ahead on this development early this year, and the project is set to start construction shortly.

Corso Multi-Use

Chris Corso is no stranger to the Short North when it comes to developing popular restaurants. His newest addition to the area is a multi-use development including a restaurant, lounge and apartments located above. Corso is teaming up with former Ohio State football coach, Urban Meyer, to create a mid-level steakhouse called Urban Chophouse that will serve a wide range of food and a unique atmosphere. Additionally, this steakhouse is planning to offer room service to the tenants in the 113 units of the Luxe 23 apartments above the restaurant. Finally, there will be a whiskey lounge connected to the restaurant that will offer great views of High St. This multi-use development is set to open early 2021.
