Keeping up with CRE trends is as easy as 1-2-3 with our weekly piece! The Weekly Review is a new blog series that will be released every Friday. The market is constantly growing and adapting to new ventures and ideas, and our goal is to provide up-to-date information into what is happening in both the Columbus and U.S. markets, as well as the commercial real estate industry as a whole. As stories evolve, the Weekly Review will continue to follow along and update our clients and community.

“An affordable housing organization has returned to its Central Ohio roots. Housing Services Alliance recently relocated its headquarters from King of Prussia, Pennsylvania to downtown Delaware. It is now located at 1 W. Winter St. on the north side of downtown. The move re-establishes Central Ohio as the main administrative office for the nonprofit housing corporation, which develops and preserves affordable housing in addition to coordinating resident services for low- and moderate-income households, seniors and special needs populations.”

“An Atlanta-based developer has proposed a $78.5 million industrial project in Reynoldsburg. Core5 Industrial Partners wants to build three speculative buildings totaling 821,400 square feet at 7460 Taylor Road on the city's northeast side, city documents show. The 52.3-acre property is located in an industrial area and is across the street from the Victoria's Secret headquarters and distribution center, and a Bath & Body Works distribution center.”

“Housing is one of the biggest challenges and top priorities for Columbus, according to Mayor Andrew J. Ginther, and that's clear in his 2025 State of the City address. This year, Ginther is pitching voters on a half-billion-dollar affordable housing bond package and announcing the formation of a city Division of Housing Stability that will seek to protect tenants from bad landlords, among other strategies to tackle the affordable housing crisis. Ginther delivered his address April 16 at Columbus City Schools' Fort Hayes Arts and Academic High School.”
