“For the first time in 20 years, Worthington is updating its comprehensive plan to help shape how the city grows and evolves. A lot has changed since the previous plan was adopted. Worthington, much like the broader region surrounding the northern suburb, has grown since then. The city had 13,575 residents in 2010 and its population grew nearly 9% to 14,761 by 2020. By 2050, Worthington is expected to have a population of 16,712, according to the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission.”

“The New Albany Company has amassed more than 1,200 acres of Marysville land where it is planning a pair of business parks. The real estate firm spent the past two years acquiring properties in the southeastern portion of the city and now it is starting to market the sites for future economic development projects.”

“A new over $1 billion data center campus could be coming to Millersport. Vantage Data Centers plans to build a data center campus at the corner of Route 37 and Route 204, said Rick Szabrak, director of economic and workforce development for Fairfield County. The project is still early in the planning stages, so Szabrak said details are still being finalized.”
