U.S. OCCUPANCY GAINS REACH RECORD LEVELS: AN INSIDE LOOK AT THE TOP 25 U.S. INDUSTRIAL & LOGISTICS MARKETS

The U.S. industrial market has undoubtedly experienced an extraordinary year. Key fundamentals including occupancy gains and construction activity reached levels never before seen, and many markets across the country posted historically low vacancy rates. The positive momentum spurred by the global pandemic continued throughout 2021 and the Top 25 markets covered in this report stood to benefit the most as occupiers continue to retool their supply chains and distribution networks. Overall, these leading markets maintained low vacancy, unprecedented occupancy gains and developers remained active in each of these markets, with no end in sight.
